WUDL (Corona) Cancels March Tournaments

March 13, 2020

WUDL Community,

On Wednesday, March 11, 2020, the office of Mayor Bowser released a D.C. Health Advisory that recommended all non-essential mass gatherings should be postponed or cancelled. They recommend this advisory be in place until March 31st. Subsequent changes have moved spring break to next week and cancelled school in D.C. and Maryland for the near future.

Based on this health advisory DCPS has cancelled events non-essential district-wide school events and we suspect other non-DCPS schools will do the same. We will continue to follow the advice and guidance of DCPS as it relates to this public health crisis.

Our tournament on March 21st will be cancelled to be in accordance with the health advisory.

As of now, there has not been a decision on whether this tournament will be rescheduled but once that decision has been made, we will provide further information.
