Bloomberg reported on efforts by our partner, the Silicon Valley Urban Debate League, to expand their legal and professional mentorship program to the WUDL. This program will provide mentorship and enrichment opportunities for WUDL students.
The Matthew H. Ornstein Washington Summer Debate League was featured in the Washington Post! More than double the size of last year's institute, the institute featured three novice labs and a lab for returning debaters, an all-star staff recruited from around the nation and culminated in a tournament hosted by Georgetown University.
WUDL, the Matthew H. Ornstein Foundation, and Reed Smith are featured in BisNow. Reed Smith and the Ornstein Foundation hosted a fundraiser for the WUDL, raising awareness and money to expand debate in public schools in the D.C. area.
