Invest in Washington Area Debate!

The Power of Debate and Community

At WUDL, we create opportunities for students to participate in an intellectual community with their peers, develop critical social-emotional skills, and experience the benefits of competitive policy debate.

Since 2015, WUDL has trained the next generation of young leaders in Washington, D.C., to advocate for themselves and their communities. Our programming serves more students and schools each year in our after-school debate program, and we reach thousands more students through our other partnerships and initiatives.

We are a community based organization, and our work isn’t possible without your support

Understanding the impact and necessity of supporting urban debate activities within our community helps lead to the foundation of success for our students of today and tomorrow.
